Let’s find the secret ingredient to feeling your best

I’m Kirsty, a BANT registered nutritional therapist, recipe developer and food writer. Together we’ll realign your body and mind for a healthier, happier you.

You’re in the right place if you’re feeling:

Anxious about current symptoms relating to one of more of the following: Digestion, weight, sleep, mood, skin, hair, muscles, bones, libido, men’s health, menstruation, menopause.

Worried that your health isn’t as good as you’d like it to be.

Concerned about preventing or managing a specific health condition or time of life (e.g., diabetes, arthritis, obesity, auto-immune condition, period pain, PCOS, menopause, aging, injury, grief) and you’re not sure where to turn.

Excited but nervous about an upcoming event – sporting, wedding or other, and want to be at your best.

Overwhelmed with general health advice and want someone in your corner.

Guilty about your food choices, cravings and/or lack of cooking skills and want non-judgmental support.

How I help

I believe everyone’s body is like a unique store cupboard of ingredients—a blend of genetics, environment, food and lifestyle habits that can either contribute to health or leave us feeling less than our best.

In an over-marketed world where we are being misled into choosing unnatural food products, I value the right for all of us to enjoy simple, tasty meals that truly nourish both body and mind.

As a BANT-registered nutritional therapist with over 25 years as a food writer, recipe developer, and chef, I combine evidence-based nutrition with personalised lifestyle support you to feel at your best. Where useful, I incorporate lab testing and targeted supplements.

With kind, practical guidance, bespoke, exciting and nutritious meal plans, recipes and tips with a focus on lasting habits, I work with you to uncover your secret ingredients for better health—at a pace that feels natural and enjoyable for life.

Cookbooks

I had the pleasure of working at Riverford Farm for over 15 years as their recipe developer. In that time I helped write, edit and food style these two cookbooks. You can purchase them from most bookstores, or online.

“Kirsty is something of a recipe legend.”

Services

I am a nutritional therapist, recipe developer, food writer and teacher. Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss working with me, or read about my services in more detail here.

Nutritional Therapy

I use the evidence-based tools of nutritional therapy to help my clients, including tailored food plans, practical lifestyle advice, and occasionally, supplement recommendations and lab testing (only if needed and wanted).

There are a range of packages people can choose from depending on how complex their health goals or conditions are.

Recipe Development

What I loved most as the recipe developer at Riverford was getting personal messages from colleagues and customers about how cooking my recipes had become a form of therapy for them - improving their quality of life by helping with a wide range of health issues. I still create recipes for my clients and work with selected brands.

Food Writing and Events

With over 25 years of experience in the food industry, I’ve enjoyed doing everything from hosting food retreats, pioneering cooking classes and demonstrations, to writing, editing and food styling for three cookbooks. If you’d like to work with me on any food projects, please email me at:
